Packaging Redesign for Natura Águas / 2021

The redesign of the Águas fragrance brand focused on increasing the product’s perceived value and appealing to a younger, fashion-forward audience. To achieve this, vibrant and joyful prints, developed in collaboration with La Estampa fashion print studio, were used to “dress” both the bottles and boxes. This approach elevated the visual appeal and ensured versatility for future brand extensions and updates, allowing new collections and collaborations with guest artists.
The design of the bottle was inspired by the fluidity and abundance of water ("Águas" meaning "water" in Portuguese), conveying a product intended for generous use, flowing over the body like water. The elegant lines of the bottles evoke a sense of movement, while paying homage to the brand’s heritage through subtle references to classic eau de cologne packaging.
This combination of modern design elements and timeless references resulted in a contemporary expression that resonated with consumers, leading to a significant increase in sales. The new design successfully strengthened the brand’s connection with its target audience, as confirmed by consumer research.
